Georgia's 14th annual Outdoor Classroom Symposium will be held Friday, November 5, 2010, at Zoo Atlanta! This year’s theme is "Get Outdoors! Teaching Locally, Connecting Globally." Registration is now open!


Organized and hosted each year by the Outdoor Classroom Council (OCC), which is an initiative of the Envirornmental Education Alliance of Georgia (EEA) and is comprised of a coalition of organizations and individuals who share an interest in the design, development, maintenance, use, and longevity of outdoor classrooms.

NAAEE is the national professional association for environmental education. Members include educators in nonformal organizations, K-12 classrooms, universities (both instructors and students), government agencies, and corporate settings throughout North America and in over 55 other countries.

As a volunteer driven not-for-profit organization, the Environmental Education Alliance (EEA) of Georgia could not accomplish its mission without the financial support it receives through memberships, event registration fees, contracts and grants, and program sponsorships.
