The Outdoor Classroom Council (OCC) is an initiative of the Environmental Education Alliance of Georgia (EEA) and is comprised of a coalition of organizations and individuals who share an interest in the design, development, maintenance, use, and longevity of outdoor classrooms. OCC serves teachers, parents, principals, and community volunteers as a resource link, providing up-to-date training and information to those interested in building and using outdoor classrooms.

Outdoor Classroom Symposium: Annual fall symposium along with post- workshops, offering teachers 1 PLU to attend. The 2010 Symposium will be held on November 5th at Zoo Atlanta. This year’s theme is "Get Outdoors! Teaching Locally, Connecting Globally." Registration is open.
Outdoor Classroom Guide: Need guidance all year? This Guide will provide information and resources to guide your creation, use and maintenace of an outdoor classroom.
Outdoor Classroom Service Award: This award is presented every year. Nominations are being accepted now for an outstanding school, educational institution, individual teacher, parent, principal, or community volunteer who has contributed in significant and meaningful way to an outdoor classroom at a school or other educational campus.
